ListrApp is a product of PostalListr, owned by Astrolabe Apps, Inc. This policy describes what information we collect when you use the ListrApp web application at postallistr.com and how we use it. See also our Application Terms.
Summary
ListrApp is a tool for you, the seller. We act as a service provider: we process your data only to help you create, publish, and manage your own listings on marketplaces you connect (such as eBay, Shopify, or other channels you authorize). We do not sell your data. We do not share your listings, photos, or account data with other ListrApp users.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use ListrApp, we may process:
- Account information — email address, display name, and login session data when you register or sign in.
- Marketplace connection tokens — OAuth tokens and related credentials you authorize when you connect eBay, Etsy, Reverb, Shopify, or other supported channels. These let ListrApp act on your behalf only for actions you request (for example, publishing a listing to your account, or for Etsy, creating a draft in your Etsy shop for you to review and activate on Etsy).
- Photos you upload — item images you provide for AI listing generation and publishing.
- Listing content you create — titles, descriptions, prices, categories, and other fields you generate, edit, or publish through the app.
- Usage and operational data — basic logs needed to run the service (for example, error diagnostics, rate limits, and optional product analytics events within the app).
We do not require your marketplace password. Authorization uses each marketplace’s official OAuth or token flow.
How we use your information
We use your data solely to provide ListrApp features to you, including:
- Generating listing drafts from your photos and hints.
- Publishing and updating listings on channels you connect.
- Storing your listing history, sync status, and exports you request.
- Suggesting prices for your items using eBay sold-listing data when you run pricing research (see below).
- Sending optional account or report emails you or your operator enable (for example, a weekly CSV summary).
We do not use your Etsy, Reverb, or other channel data for pricing research, analytics about other sellers, machine-learning training, or comparison products aimed at third-party shops.
Your data is private to your account
Each signed-in user sees only their own listings, connections, and uploads. We do not expose your photos, tokens, or listing content to other ListrApp users. Beta or multi-tenant hosting still keeps accounts logically separated by login.
Pricing research (eBay only)
When you run pricing research, ListrApp uses eBay sold-listing and asking-price data to suggest a price for your listing title. It does not access, analyze, scan, or collect data from other sellers’ Etsy, Reverb, or other marketplace shops for this feature.
Storage and security
Data is stored on secured servers used to operate the hosted ListrApp service (for example, PostgreSQL for account and listing records, and object storage for images when configured). Connection tokens are stored encrypted at rest as part of normal application security practices. Access to production systems is limited to operators who need it to run and support the service.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. We work to protect your data and review our practices as the product evolves.
Disconnecting and revoking access
You can stop ListrApp from accessing a marketplace at any time:
- eBay — eBay → Account settings → Connected applications → remove ListrApp / PostalListr.
- Etsy, Reverb, Shopify, and other channels — revoke the app in that marketplace’s connected-apps or developer settings, and use Sign out in ListrApp if you wish to end your session.
- Delete your ListrApp account — contact us (below) to request removal of your hosted account data.
Revoking access stops new API calls immediately; we may retain minimal records required for legal, billing, or backup purposes for a limited time, then delete or anonymize them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information or listing content.
- We do not use your data to build profiles of other sellers or shops.
- We do not share your marketplace tokens or listing data with other users or unrelated third parties for their marketing.
- We do not use third-party marketplace API data (such as Etsy shop data) for AI model training.
AI listing generation sends your photos and hints to our AI provider solely to produce draft text for your review. It is not used to train a public model on your inventory without your knowledge.
Third-party services
ListrApp integrates with marketplaces and infrastructure providers you choose to connect (eBay, Etsy, Reverb, Shopify, cloud hosting, email delivery, image hosting, and optional pricing-data services for eBay). Each third party has its own privacy policy governing data they receive when you use their API or site.
Changes
We may update this policy as features or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of ListrApp after an update means you accept the revised policy.
